Coire Domhain to Beinn Mheadhoin

The Coire Domhain path can be reached from Cairngorm Mountain car park, either via Coire Cas onto Fiacaill a’Choire Chais ridge or via Coire an t-Sneachda, taking the steep Goat track. The route follows the Allt Coire Domhain burn and soon opens breathtaking views over Loch A’an (Loch Avon) surrounded by craggy amphitheater. And across the loch sits the remote peak Beinn Mheadhoin with its prominent granite tors. It is a very steep descent to the loch, but well worth the effort.
